Planting Spring Flowers

Rejoice in the warmth that spring provides and get rid of the drabness of winter by planting colorful spring flowers.  There are so many wonderful flowers to choose from; pansies, freesia, dahlia, sweet peas, roses, and zinnia just to name a few.  Gardening is such a great excuse to get out and enjoy fresh air while getting your hands dirty.  Plant a variety for a dazzling display that will give you a sense of pride and accomplishment.  At Alice's Outdoor Emporium, we have pretty planters that will become the centerpiece of any garden.

Rustic but elegant, our Wagon Wheel Planter looks equally at home on a patio, lawn or in a garden.  This old fashioned planter features four wooden buckets hanging from a small wagon wheel.  Plant a variety of flowers and greenery in them for a delightful homespun look.

The base is a large wagon wheel, and, this planter has a weathered finish making it look like a fine antique.  It measures 18 1/2" diameter x 23 1/2" high and some assembly is required.  Very versatile, it can stand alone on it's own, or use it as the cornerstone of a larger display.
Who hasn't had the pleasure of throwing a penny or two into a wishing well?  It's easy to add a little bit of storybook charm to your lawn or garden with the Rustic Wishing Well Planter.  This good sized planter makes an impressive display and stands 44 1/8" tall and measures 25 5/8" in diameter.  You can plant flowers and greenery in both the bucket and base.

Made from durable fir wood, with a little care you will have many years of enjoyment from it.  Use it as a starting point and let your imagination and creativity flow.  Surround it with decorative rock, more plants and a couple of cute decorations and you will truly have something to brag about.

We haven't forgotten about people who live in apartments or condo's.  The Stack-A-Pot is the perfect solution for those with a limited amount of space, and, it is just a darned good idea.  This three-layered planter is made out of UV-resistant plastic and can stay outdoors in any kind of weather.  Each layer consists of three segments and each layer is staggered in a vertical stack that rests on a matching base.  This allows you to plant nine different flowers or greenery without needing a bunch of separate pots.  When not in use, they stack neatly inside each other for easy storage.  An extremely clever and decorative planter!
